Rooted in family memory, this exceptional red pays tribute to a visionary ancestor. Deep, structured, and distinguished, HERMANN SABRAN is a rare, numbered wine built to stand the test of time with nobility. It embodies the spirit of legacy, inherited elegance, and the quiet strength of deep roots.

  • Deep, luminous ruby colour.
  • Complex, intense nose. Barrel ageing reveals notes of garrigue alongside liquorice and red fruit. Floral notes add a touch of elegance.
  • Round, well-balanced and silky on the palate.
A full-bodied wine with fine tannins. A long, persistent finish with an aromatic bouquet: fruity, rich and complex.

Our meticulously selected grape varieties thrive in mineral-rich schistose-clay soil. This cuvée is made from a plot of low-yielding, 40-year-old Syrah facing due south, and a plot of Mourvèdre facing east-west, on sandy soil. The grapes have matured to the point where 20% of them have shrivelled. All the grapes are vinified in barrels with blonde toast, and a manual punching down is carried out twice a day.

  • Braised meat
  • Vegetables
  • Cheeses
  • Chocolate and hazelnut dessert
  • Located on a seaside estate
  • Facing the Golden Islands of Hyeres
  • Maritime micro-climate
  • Schist soil with clay and silica components
  • 43 hectares of vines in production
  • Average age of 30 years
